Introduction and Context
The EPICS Adventure Blueprint maps out an adventure, where the reward is a goal or a dream that has been articulated or described in the EPICS Life Blueprint.
This covers Steps 2, 3 and 7 on the EPICS Framework.
Application and Implementation
Like the EPICS Life Blueprint, the EPICS Adventure Blueprint is also used for 2 purposes:
For the Founder:
To describe the journey of the founder and how he got to his dreams and goals articulated in the EPICS Life Blueprint.
This creates a reference document where a powerful value proposition (or propositions) can be identified to create a value-chain that can be available for a tribe.
This is an often neglected or underestimated activity and many opportunities to create value are lost.
The EPICS Adventure Blueprint is also the source of "stories of adventures" that can be told, whether as part of the branding narrative, or as a reference for engagement content to be developed.
For a Tribe:
To describe the potential journey of a tribe, and the stages of adventure that they will experience getting to their dreams and goals articulated in their EPICS Life Blueprint.
After articulating a tribe's potential dreams and goals, the EPICS Adventure Blueprint is where the "Invitation To Adventure" is crafted - this is where your tribe is "invited" to a journey where the reward is getting to their goals and dreams.
The narratives that are described in the Adventure Blueprint form the entire journey of your tribe with you, as long as you are helping them overcome their challenges and obstacles to get to where they want to go.
Closing
Building the EPICS Adventure Blueprint is an exciting undertaking. You can design the adventure for your tribe and identify the opportunities for engagement that is based on a deep understanding of who they are and where they want to do.
The EPICS Adventure Blueprint will be the source of your stories and content, built on dreams and getting to those dreams.
